It was reported yesterday that the Chris Jericho had his AEW World Championship stolen over the weekend. This was then confirmed by AEW.
After Chris Jericho launched a ‘worldwide investigation’, the City of Tallahassee Police Department today revealed on social media that they had found the belt.
However, Denny Burkholder is reporting that the Tallahassee Police Department are still listing the investigation as “open and active”
As of 20 minutes ago, AEW belt investigation is still open and active per Tallahassee PD, despite the belt apparently being found.

This comes after Jeffrey Burlew claimed that Jericho’s championship was handed into police headquarters after someone reportedly found the belt on the side of the road.
He also notes that the belt’s value was estimated at a staggering $30,000.

Burlew then went on to add that no arrests have been made yet with regards to the stolen championship. The police department is still working on the case, and have urged anyone with any information on the matter to come forward.
