AJ Styles Negotiating New WWE Contract

AJ Styles Negotiating New WWE Contract

Previously, AJ Styles has indicated that he would work for WWE for couple of years before retiring from in-ring competition to focus on being a dad.

Thankfully, he now has Samoa Joe to be daddy for him, and therefore he has more time to devote to being a wrestler.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that negotiations are currently underway on a three-year contract extension for AJ.

A source has told him that AJ Styles is looking for a deal which would allow for a reduced number of dates, much like Randy Orton, so that he can spend more time with his family.

AJ apparently agreed to drop the title so as to make it easier for him to work a reduced schedule in the future.

With AJ now at the ripe old age of 41, he’ll want to start thinking about Crown Jewel 2045, when WWE will being him out in a wheelchair to face John Cena.

WWE will want these negotiations to go as smoothly as possible, as it’s not as though Styles is short of options should he make the decision to leave the company.

Fightful also report that a number of WWE stars are interested in negotiating new contracts, particularly with the new FOX TV deals on the horizon.
