Former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss has outlined her WWE goal for 2023, ahead of the new year.
2022 has been a very mixed bag for Alexa Bliss. The popular star made her WWE in-ring return in February at the Elimination Chamber premium live event.
Following this event, Bliss didn’t have another match until May, and was vocal about her frustrations with WWE for not utilizing her.
Bliss has made several premium live event appearances since then, most recently wrestling on the winning side of the women’s WarGames bout at Survivor Series.
She even had avery brief stint with the Women’s Tag Team Championship, winning the gold alongside Asuka on the October 31 edition of Raw. The duo dropped the title back to Damage CTRL at the November 5 Crown Jewel event.
Speaking with BT Sport, Bliss noted that she plans to evolve her character in the new year, stating:
“I want to evolve. I want to evolve my character and see what else I can become.
“I think there is a lot more to explore. There’s every single type of person out there, so why not portray them all?”
Bliss noted that she currently finds working on her character more appealing than pursuing championships, admitting that she wants to see some new faces have reigns with the gold.
The popular star appeared to tease a character change at Survivor Series WarGames, which you can read more about right here.
