ALL IN – News In Brief

ALL IN – News In Brief

Well, ALL IN was quite something, wasn’t it?

Amazing matches, plenty of drama, and a surprise appearance that will have people talking for many weeks to come.

Below we give a quick round-up of all the results, and any extra juicy bits you may have missed from the night’s action.

RESULTS

SoCal Uncensored defeated the Briscoes (Zero Hour)

Flip Gordon won the Over Budget Battle Royal (Zero Hour)

  • Flip made a surprise appearance as a masked luchador, eliminating Bully Ray last to get a shot at Jey Lethal’s title later in the show.

Matt Cross defeated MJF

Christopher Daniels defeated Stephen Amell

Tessa Blanchard defeated Madison Rayne, Britt Baker and Chelsea Green

Cody defeated Nick Aldis (c) – NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion

  • Despite referee Earl Hebner calling for the match to stop early after Cody was busted open, the American Nightmare battled back to win the NWA Worlds Championship for the first time, emulating the success of his father. He even won the title in the same way as his father, which was a wonderful moment for the man who put so much into making the show a success.

Hangman Adam Page defeated Joey Janela – Chicago Street Fight

  • Joey Ryan attacked Hangman Page after the match, and the events can be summed up in the following tweet.

Jay Lethal (c) defeated Flip Gordon – ROH World Championship

  • Gordon fell short in his quest to claim the ROH World Championship. Following the bell, both men were attacked by Bully Ray, who was in turn attacked by Colt Cabana, and the three of them put Bully through a table with a triple powerbomb.

Kenny Omega defeated Penta El Zero

  • After a great match, Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance, attacking Omega, possibly setting up a match on the Jericho Cruise. The crowd popped huge for this, and is the latest indication that Jericho’s loyalty to WWE is gone.

Kazuchika Okada defeated Marty Scurll

The Golden Elite defeated Rey Mysterio, Fenix and Bandido

So, no Neville or CM Punk, but a top class night of entertainment nonetheless. Cody, the Young Bucks and everyone involved should be incredibly proud of everything they achieved.

Bring on ALL IN 2.
