Alleged Details Of Backstage Fight At WrestleMania WWE

WWE brought the most stupendous two night WrestleMania in history to AT&T Stadium earlier this year, but that was not the first time that WWE had brought WrestleMania to AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

WWE held WrestleMania 32 in the stadium back in 2016, which saw Roman Reigns defeat Triple H in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but that was far from the only match on the show.

One of the matches earlier in the night saw the New Day’s Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston face off against Rusev, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio of the League of Nations, with Wade Barrett in their corner.

Former WWE star Alberto Del Rio recently spoke to Sportskeeda, where he spoke about an alleged fight that happened backstage at the show between the members of the League of Nations, happening a minute before they were supposed to go out to the ring.

He said:

“Yeah, there was a big fight backstage but on that one, it was not me creating that altercation. The other two and I, we had to put someone in his place backstage before going out. This is one minute before we went out to the ring, and one of us, I’m not gonna say who, one of us had to tell this person, ‘Listen, you mother f. We’re done with you. You’re gonna go out and do this because you’re a this, and you’re a that.’ So yes, one minute before we went out in that huge, packed stadium, an altercation was happening backstage. You know, it’s part of wrestling. One of the members of the League of Nations grabbed this other member of the League of Nations, grabbed him by the neck, and put them against the wall like that. So that’s all I can say about it.”

The League of Nations would end up winning the match, before they were laid out by Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Wade Barrett would end up being kicked out of the group the following night in what was his final in-ring appearance for WWE before his 2020 return as an announcer on NXT.
