During tonight’s episode of NXT, another championship match was announced for next week. This will be a rematch as Kushida will take on Santos Escobar.
Escobar and the rest of Legado del Fantasma cut a promo on the show saying they wanted title shots. They had defeated Kushida and MSK in the main event of the previous episode of NXT. Sure enough, Kushida challenged Escobar to a match next week.
It was later confirmed that not only will the match be happening, but it will also be a Two out of Three Falls match.
This joins the previously announced title match between Raquel Gonzalez and Mercedes Martinez on next week’s show. Their championship match had been announced last week.
