Another New WWE Signing Revealed

Another New WWE Signing Revealed

WWE has gone on somewhat of a signing spree lately, with reports suggesting that the company has signed upwards of twenty wrestlers, the majority of whom will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center next week.

Some big additions have also been made to the NXT UK roster, with the brand adding the likes of Rampage Brown, Ben Carter, Lucky Kid, Sha Samuels and Meiko Satomura to its ranks over the last few months.

WWE has reportedly made another new signing for the NXT UK roster, as Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT is reporting that Millie McKenzie has signed with the company, with WWE believed to have “high hopes” for its new signing:

talkSPORT understands that WWE has signed Millie McKenzie to the NXT UK brand.

We’re also told WWE has high hopes for McKenzie. She’s set to be plugged in at the top of the card in NXT UK along with fellow recent arrival Meiko Satomura, two women who know each other very well from the independent scene.

Millie McKenzie is believed to feel more comfortable working with WWE now that Travis Banks and other wrestlers who were caught up in the Speaking Out movement have been released from the company:

McKenzie played a central role in the Speaking Out movement that swept British wrestling last summer as she worked to highlight an abusive relationship she had with now former NXT UK star Travis Banks.

It’s believed Banks being signed to the company was a central reason McKenzie did not sign sooner, but having seen WWE release Banks and several others as part of their efforts to address the movement, the young star from Coventry now feels comfortable working with WWE.
