Backstage Reaction To WWE Postponing WrestleMania 37 Ticket Sales

More information has come to light surrounding WWE postponing WrestleMania 37 ticket sales less than a month away from the event.

Originally scheduled for March 16, WWE officially announced that they’re moving the date that WrestleMania tickets go on sale. While no official on-sale date has been set, WWE stated that we’d know more within the next week.

According to Fightful Select, this postponement was expected by WWE talent. It has been reported that people within the WWE locker room haven’t been given information on how to book tickets for family and friends.

This comes after WWE talent were also reportedly informed that complimentary tickets would likely not be provided.

Fightful Select also noted that Vince McMahon has warmed to the idea of Super bowl-esque cardboard cut-outs. There has been no further information as to whether WWE will use cardboard cut-outs of their fans to fill up their crowd.

The report noted that a source had claimed that the WrestleMania ticket situation had been “a mess” since the beginning of March. With The Show of Shows taking place across April 10 and 11, there isn’t much time for WWE to make a decision.

WrestleMania 37 has heavily promoted the event as the return of fans to WWE shows. Matches already confirmed for the two-night event include Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre, and Roman Reigns vs. Edge.

Stay tuned for potential updates about new ticket sale dates.
