Backstage Reaction To WWE Raw Potentially Moving Nights Revealed WWE

Rumours have emerged on the possibility of WWE Raw changing nights.

Raw has aired on Monday Nights for the entirety of the show’s 30 year existence, so it no longer taking place on a Monday would be a big change for WWE fans to get used to, but it may not be out of the realm of possibility.

The rumours came from Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, who discussed WWE’s media rights deals during a Bloomberg Screentime Conference.

He said:

“So, you cannot undervalue the WWE and UFC for the following reasons: One, we do not have a season. One of the biggest issues that will happen with s-mods and networks is churn. We’re 52 weeks a year, right? And we’re flexible.

“You want us Thursday night? You want us Tuesday night? I don’t have any of those scheduling issues and that churn issue because we’re the full year.

“It’s so much different than any other sport because then people churn out. That’s one of the issues with sports. Not in a bad way… and then the package is over and then you leave. We do not have that. Our fans are loyal, they stick around and they move.”

On the rumours of Raw potentially changing nights, Wrestlevotes on Twitter has provided an update on the backstage reaction to the possibility, with them noting that there are ‘tons of people’ backstage who want Raw to remain on Mondays.

They tweeted:

Regarding the rumors of RAW moving nights, Endeavor is definitely open to it, which they have stated. I can say from a backstage (off camera) standpoint, there are tons of people who want RAW to continue on Mondays as is. Time will tell.
