Becky Lynch Challenges Asuka To A “War”

It looks like we now know who will be the next person to take on Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship.

Last night on Raw, we saw a championship showcase tag match between Lynch, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and the new Women’s Tag Team Champions the Kabuki Warriros, Asuka and Kairi Sane.

The tag champs got a surprise roll-up victory when Asuka green misted Lynch, and it looks like this has set up the next feud for Lynch.

Taking to Twitter, she said:

Is that Princess Fiona from Shrek?

The pair have already gone face to face this year, with Asuka picking up a shock clean victory at the Royal Rumble PPV.

Since then, their paths have been rather different, with Lynch becoming double champion after defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania and being the face of WWE 2K20. Asuka on the other hand became little more than a jobber and has spent the last few months wasting away in the women’s tag division.

Thankfully it seems that she may be back on her way to the main event where she belongs, and if that means splitting up the Kabuki Warriors so that they can become singles stars, I’m all for it.
