Becky Lynch Reveals WWE Wanted Her To Shave Her Head

As someone who has shaved their head for a wrestling storyline myself, I can completely understand why Becky Lynch refused to shave her head in a storyline WWE once pitched to her.

Becky and fiance Seth Rollins recently appeared on the Gorilla Position podcast, and she spoke about the idea when she was asked if there were any storylines she personally refused to do.

“Oh yes, yes… No, not even [not in a WWE storyline]. This was the whole pitch that I got sent to by a writer. It was like, ‘What if Becky shaves her head?’ and that was pretty much it. It wasn’t something that I did on TV. It wasn’t I lost my hair in a match. It was just, ‘What if Becky was bald?’ I was like, ‘No!’”

It wouldn’t have been the first time WWE has had someone shave their head, but I think it’s fair to say that this would have been one of the more shocking cuts if Becky had agreed to go through with it.

Becky is widely expected to make her return to WWE this weekend at WrestleMania 37, perhaps in a segment alongside Bayley, who is currently not booked on the card.
