Appearing on the Today Show, Bianca Belair and Montez Ford made the announcement and shared more details about the upcoming offering, the first WWE original to air on Hulu.
Bianca saying:
“We’re excited. People get to see who we are in the ring but now they kind of get to see who we are outside the ring, pulling the curtain back a little bit.”
When asked about the timeline for filming the new series, Montez Ford provided a scoop, saying:
“It should be happening in the next few weeks, two-to-three weeks.”
Bianca Belair is set to be team captain for her WarGames squad as WWE speeds towards their next premium live event, Survivor Series WarGames.
It will be a team consisting of Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Michin Mia Yim and an as yet to be named mystery partner taking on a fearsome group.
Opposing them are baddies Damage CTRL (Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai) with the returned to viciousness Nikki Cross and the Judgment Day’s Eradicator, Rhea Ripley.
