Bianca Belair recently said that her match with Sasha Banks at WrestleMania was bigger than both of them.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Belair opened up about the match and how fulfilled Banks was afterward. She also let it be known that she hasn’t forgotten about a potential rematch between them. Belair said:
“That moment was bigger than us… Even though I won the title, no one lost that night. That’s why there are videos of Sasha smiling at the end. She had so much fulfilment from what came out of that match. Now, when she comes back and the title is on the line, we’ll see who walks out as champion.”
Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair were the main event of night one of WrestleMania 37. This marked just the second time that a WrestleMania event had been main evented by a women’s match. It was also the first time the feat had been accomplished by women of color.
Bianca Belair is still the SmackDown Women’s Champion, having won the title from Banks that night. She is currently in a feud with Bayley over the title, defeating her at WrestleMania Backlash.
