AEW is set to begin the process of crowning their Interim AEW World Champion following CM Punk’s injury on tonight’s (June 8) episode of AEW Dynamite.
The show is set to kick-off with a Battle Royal, with the winner set to face Jon Moxley in the main event to earn a shot at the Interim title at Forbidden Door.
However, Tony Khan has announced a big change to the match on tonight’s Busted Open Radio, noting that the match will be contested under Casino Battle Royal rules.
The Casino Battle Royal sees 21 entrants divided into 4 suits of five competitors, as well as a surprise ‘Joker’ entrant.
Khan was asked about MJF’s promo on last week’s show during Busted Open Radio, and he had this to say.
