Big Rhea Ripley Segment Announced For Raw

An interesting segment, involving Rhea Ripley and the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka, have been announced for Raw next week.

On the latest episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley shocked fans by challenging Asuka to a Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 37. Shortly after, the match was made “official”, with the bout added to the April 11 card.

WWE have announced that on Monday, Rhea Ripley and Asuka will come face to face during a WrestleMania 37 contract signing. With majority of contract signings devolving into chaos, this segment could lead to one of Ripley’s first matches on The Red Brand.

With WWE teasing tensions between The Empress and The Nightmare, this contract signing will give Ripley the opportunity to show Raw fans what she is truly capable of, ahead of her huge WrestleMania match.

Also announced for the show, United States Champion Matt Riddle will take on Sheamus in singles competition. With Riddle not currently set to compete at WrestleMania, this bout will have big implications for the US Champion at The Show of Shows.

After Bobby Lashley offered a WWE Championship match to anybody who could take out Drew McIntyre ahead of their WrestleMania match, WWE is also teasing a segment involving the Number 1 Contender to the WWE Championship.
