WWE Name On The Reason For Seth Rollins Popularity WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has discussed what they feel is the reason behind the long-standing popularity of current World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.

Rollins is currently on a career-high, after winning the new World Heavyweight Championship as one of WWE’s most popular stars.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, six-time world champion Booker T named Rollins’ evolution and his ability to have fun with what he’s given as two reasons for his success.

The NXT commentator noted that he believes the primary reason for Rollins’ success is down to his health, and not getting seriously hurt that often.

Booker explained:

“Sometimes you win by attrition, by not getting hurt and that’s Seth Rollins.

“He’s been that guy who has been able to go out there and weather the storm, probably getting hurt all the time, but not getting injured and still being able to go out there and perform and taking the roles that he has and making the best out of those roles.

Sometimes, Seth Rollins, he’s done very little on a lot of these shows, but you remember everything about Seth Rollins, and that right there is the mark of a talent for me.”

Aside from a serious knee injury in late 2015, Rollins has managed to avoid any lengthy injury layoffs, an impressive feat given his high in-ring work-rate.

Rollins’ desire to compete as much as possible is a hallmark of his current character, playing an antithesis of such to the much less-active Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The Visionary even stopped by NXT for the first night of the Gold Rush TV special (June 20) to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker.

The blockbuster main event saw NXT draw its highest viewership number in two years, with the main event in particular faring extremely well.
