Following in the footsteps of Bad Bunny, fellow rapper Bow Wow took to social media last week to share that he has a strong interest in becoming a professional wrestler and joining WWE once the current album he is working on is released.
It seems like this is more than just internet talk from Bow Wow, as it was reported that the rapper is going to be reporting to the WWE Performance Center soon to prepare for a match/run with the company.
Taking to Twitter recently, Bow Wow has claimed that the wrestlers he is interacting with on Twitter “should be happy” as he’s helping them become bigger names, especially considering how small their followings are compared to his.
Bow Wow, who has 3 million followers on Twitter, said that “something [is] not adding up” as wrestlers on Raw with 50k-70k followers on social media are taking issue with his desire to become a wrestler:
A lot of the wrestlers who are coming for me on twitter should be happy im going back and forth. Most have like 70k followers. Im actually helping you become a bigger name (million dollar man laugh) how you on RAW with 50k followers. Something not adding up.
At this stage, the plans that WWE has for Bow Wow, should he make his debut, are unclear. For any potential updates on the matter, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
