It appears as if wrestling fans and critics aren’t the only ones who were gripped by Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse segments.
On Monday, before spearing Bobby Lashley through the Monday Night Raw set, Braun Strowman appeared on the Chad Dukes Monday radio show.
During the interview, Strowman discussed a variety of topics, including the new character work of his former Wyatt Family mentor, Bray Wyatt.
Braun Strowman explained that it is not just the WWE Universe who are fans of the Firefly Funhouse segments, revealing that the locker room often gathers around a TV monitor to watch the videos during Raw and Smackdown:
“Oh, [the Firefly Funhouse] is awesome. It’s a monitor sellout in the back every week for all the boys and stuff, we crowd around the monitor just to see what shenanigans and ridiculousness he comes up with next.”
Bray Wyatt has been credited with coming up with these ideas for himself. Speaking of his former mentor, Strowman spoke of Wyatt’s creative genius:
“Bray Wyatt thinks outside the box, he always has. He has this ‘it’ that no one else has and you can see it come across with the Firefly Funhouse,” Strowman explained. “This is all his own creation, his own mind, that has come up with this. There have been many moments where I scratch my head, going, ‘Where on Earth is he going with this?’ But at the same time, it is so unbelievably entertaining.”
