Due to Braun Strowman’s injury, he was removed from Mixed Match Challenge Season 2, as well as casting doubt about his high-stakes match at TLC against Baron Corbin. It seems a replacement has now been announced for his replacement in MMC.
Strowman and his partner Ember Moon, who herself replaced Alexa Bliss, are currently undefeated this season, so who could possibly fill those shoes? A returning Bray Wyatt? John Cena? Nope. Curt Hawkins. Curt Hawkins is who they’ve chosen. The man who hasn’t won a match in over two years on any form of WWE programming.
So we may be seeing Curt Hawkins’ losing streak continue and drag down Ember Moon with him, or maybe, just maybe, he can get the win he’s been searching for. Fingers crossed.
