Britt Baker Reveals Backstage AEW Role

Britt Baker has revealed a unique backstage role she now has at AEW events.

‘Dr Britt Baker DMD’ is more than just a gimmick, the former AEW Women’s Champion is legitimately a member of the American Dental Association and works as a dentist in Winter Park, Florida during her time away from the ring.

In an interview with Muscle & Fitness, Baker revealed that the AEW medical team will call on her if there’s ever a mouth related injury.

Joking that she needs to speak with Tony Khan about a new contract, Baker said:

“Anytime there’s like a medical, tooth, or mouth related injury the doctors actually call me to the medical room.

“The team doctors have me go look at the teeth. I need to, like, renegotiate my contract now that I think about that because I’m like the on-call dentist (laughs)”

At AEW Full Gear, Baker will go one-on-one with Saraya in Saraya’s first match since December 2017. While Saraya announced her retirement in April 2018, the star recently revealed that doctors officially cleared her for action on October 31.
