Brock Lesnar Making an Appearance on Raw Tonight?

With SummerSlam now in the books, it appears as though the Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns saga is officially over with Reigns finally winning the Universal Championship, and Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract set to expire.

The problem is, that it may not be over. Brock Lesnar is advertised for tonight’s post-SummerSlam episode of Raw. We don’t know for sure what to expect from Lesnar or his advocate Paul Heyman tonight. It has long been speculated that this would be Lesnar’s last appearance before heading back to the UFC.

We learned through Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast that Lesnar met with WWE officials over this last week though. Remember Lesnar was originally supposed to be leaving after WrestleMania but signed on for longer. It is possible that Lesnar may again stay for a little while longer. Lesnar has reportedly told Vince McMahon he wants to work for both WWE and UFC. This episode of Raw, which has seemed for months like a farewell to the ‘Beast Incarnate’, could very well be the start of something new for Lesnar. (Or it could be more of the same. He is owed his mandatory rematch with Reigns after losing the title. That seems more likely. Let’s go with that.)
