An interesting update has emerged surrounding Brock Lesnar’s WWE return, regarding his place on the internal WWE Draft roster list.
The next WWE Draft will reportedly commence in August. As per a new report, Lesnar most likely won’t be available to draft during the upcoming roster shake-up.
According to Ringside News, who often have reports confirmed by Dave Meltzer and Fightful, Brock Lesnar’s name wasn’t on the internal roster list given out for the upcoming draft.
A number of part-time talents and WWE legends do feature on the list. Despite retiring at Survivor Series 2020, The Undertaker’s name was listed on the roster. It was noted that the legends were not available to be drafted to an individual brand.
It is interesting that Lesnar’s name hasn’t been included on such a comprehensive list, especially as WWE are reportedly hopeful he will return imminently.
A number of reports have stated that John Cena will return to compete in the SummerSlam main event. It has since been reported that WWE wanted to strike a deal with Lesnar, but ended up pivoting to Cena.
