Update On Brock Lesnar Unplanned Referee Spot At WWE Royal Rumble

A new report has revealed an update on Brock Lesnar’s unplanned referee spot at WWE Royal Rumble.

Following his elimination from the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match, Brock Lesnar was scripted to show frustration by going ballistic on the floor with a tantrum and even attacked a referee.

Lesnar’s attack on referee Eddie Orengo was unplanned and garnered some backstage heat for The Beast.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on the situation following the show, noting that Brock Lesnar was not punished for the unplanned spot from Royal Rumble.

At WWE Elimination Chamber, Lesnar suffered a disqualification loss to Bobby Lashley after he low blowed him while in the Hurt Lock.

Following the bout, Brock delivered F-5’s on the referee and Lashley once in the ring and another each on the floor.

The report also notes that the referee spot with Lesnar at the event was planned this time.
