A WWE star says being a heel is more natural and who he is.
Following NXT Stand & Deliver, Bron Breakker turned heel after losing the NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes. The former NXT Champion has shown more of an aggressive side since then.
After tearing through members of the NXT roster, Breakker has now set his sights on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Breakker was asked about his new persona. He answered:
“I think this is just more natural for me, to be honest with you. It just fits me a whole lot better. I don’t have to be a character or get into character. This is more natural and who I am. I’m having a lot of fun,”
“When I was the NXT Champion, towards the end of the long run that I had, people started to turn on me and change their tune when I came out. It’s tough. I felt reserved, like I’m holding this back.”
“I can’t really describe it. Finally, I was like, ‘screw it. I’m done caring what these people think of me, whether they like me, whether they don’t, I’m going to do whatever I want and that’s it.'”
Bron Breakker will challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on the June 20 episode of WWE NXT.
Before then, Rollins has an open challenge for his title on the June 19 edition of WWE Raw. If Rollins gets by both defenses, “The Visionary” will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at Money In The Bank.
