Bryan Danielson Advances In AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament

Bryan Danielson has advanced to the semi-finals of the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament with a win tonight.

In the opening match of tonight’s October 23 AEW Dynamite, Danielson beat Dustin Rhodes in their quarter-final match.

Bryan Danielson is unbeaten in singles matches in AEW thus far. His first match was a 30-minute time-limit draw with Kenny Omega, but he’s since picked up wins over Nick Jackson, Minoru Suzuki, Bobby Fish and now Rhodes.

Danielson will face the winner of tonight’s other quarter-final match, which will be Eddie Kingston vs Lance Archer.

The other half of the tournament bracket will see Orange Cassidy – who beat Powerhouse Hobbs on Rampage last night – face either Jon Moxley or Pres10 Vance in the semis. Moxley vs Vance is set for this coming Wednesday’s October 27 Dynamite.

The final will take place at Full Gear on November 13, with the winner earning an AEW World Title match.

Kenny Omega defends the championship against Adam Page at the pay-per-view, so the tournament winner will be challenging whichever of those two is the champion coming out of the show.
