Cameron Grimes Match Announced For November 30 NXT 2.0

A new match has been announced for tonight’s November 30 episode of NXT 2.0, with Cameron Grimes in action.

Days before he competes at WarGames on Sunday, December 5, Grimes will be up against Andre Chase on tonight’s show.

Setting up the match in a backstage promo posted on Twitter, Chase said:

“Last week, Cameron Grimes tried to embarrass me. And not only that, he tried to embarrass me in front of my students. That kind of behavior will not be tolerated. Cameron Grimes, tomorrow night on NXT 2.0, you’re gonna catch an Andre Chase University sized ass-kicking.”

At WarGames this Sunday, Grimes will be taking on Duke Hudson in a hair vs hair match, which it seems Hudson will almost certainly win considering the new direction of NXT, and the reports a couple of months ago that Vince McMahon wanted to change up Cameron Grimes’ look and presentation.

We’ll have live coverage of tonight’s NXT 2.0 starting at 8pm ET. The card for the show is as follows:

  • Cameron Grimes vs. Andre Chase
  • Joe Gacy’s All-Inclusive Invitational open challenge
  • Kay Lee Ray vs. Dakota Kai – WarGames advantage ladder match
  • Men’s WarGames advantage ladder match (participants TBA)
  • Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner vs. Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza – Winners challenge Imperium for NXT Tag Title at WarGames
