WWE star and Alpha Academy leader Chad Gable has explained his attack on Sami Zayn following the April 29 WWE Raw.
On the April 29 edition of Monday Night Raw, Sami Zayn defeated Bronson Reed via disqualifcation to retain the Intercontinental Championship after interference from Chad Gable.
Gable was getting a measure of redemption after Zayn delivered a Helluva Kick to his rival backstage. This followed Gable’s heel turn on Sami from the April 15 episode of Raw.
On April 30, Chad Gable took to social media to explain his attack on Sami Zayn and why he interfered in his title bout. He wrote:
Once again, Sami had it coming.
Who among you would allow someone to blindside you with a kick you in the face and not retaliate?
That would make you a COWARD.
And there’s nothing I hate more than a COWARD.
Chad Gable and the rest of Alpha Academy were drafted to Monday Night Raw during Night One of the WWE Draft on the April 26 edition of SmackDown.
A WWE Hall of Famer has revealed that he is willing to return to manage Gable, which you can read here.
