A number of matches and segments have been announced for AEW Dynamite, including Christian Cage, Darby Allin and more.
It was previously announced that Cody Rhodes will make a special announcement on the June 11 episode of Dynamite. Darby Allin will also appear in a segment during Friday’s show.
AEW revealed on Twitter that Allin and Sting are set to make an announcement, following a recent challenge. On last week’s episode, Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page requested a tag-team match against Allin, on the condition that Sting couldn’t be his partner.
Also on Dynamite, The Pinnacle will make their first appearance since Double or Nothing. We will hear from the faction and learn how the Stadium Stampede loss affected the group.
This week, Christian Cage will be in singles action. AEW has announced that Cage will face Angelico, after Matt Hardy offered Angelico big money to take out the former WWE star.
It was also confirmed that Lance Archer will be in action on Friday’s show. Lance Archer unsuccessfully challenged for the TNT Championship at Double or Nothing, so will look to regain momentum following the pay-per-view.
Although Kenny Omega vs Jungle Boy for the AEW World Championship was advertised as “in two weeks” from Double or Nothing, the title match has been postponed for later this month on June 26.
