Christopher Daniels Set For Only Second AEW Match In Over A Year AEW

Christopher Daniels’ second match with AEW over the course of the last year has been announced for AEW Dark.

On tonight’s show, Daniels will face off against Steven Andrews in singles action.

This will be Daniels’ second AEW bout of 2022, following his match against Bryan Danielson on the March 2 edition of Dynamite.

Prior to that bout, Daniels hadn’t competed on AEW TV since May 2021.

The AEW Head of Talent Relations has wrestled more frequently outside of AEW over the last year, notably in action at recent NJPW STRONG tapings.

Here’s the current line-up for this week’s edition of AEW Dark:

  • Christopher Daniels vs. Steve Andrews
  • Lance Archer vs. Aaron Solo
  • Max Caster, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn vs. Alex Reynolds, John Silver & 10
  • Marina Shafir vs. Skye Blue
  • Ortiz vs. Serpentico
  • Toni Storm vs. Zeda Zhang
