Clarification On WWE Putting Daniel Bryan In The Hall Of Fame

Over the weekend, rumours began circulating that WWE was planning on inducting Daniel Bryan into the Hall of Fame this year. These rumours started after Bryan was listed as a “2021 Hall of Fame inductee” on the WWE Network.

Unsurprisingly the subheading was quickly taken down, but it’s unclear whether or not this was because the listing was a mistake, or if someone jumped the gun and added the subheading before WWE had the time to make the announcement.

We now have some clarity on the situation courtesy of Fightful Select, who is reporting that Daniel Bryan will not be going into the Hall of Fame this year.

The report notes that Bryan being listed as a “2021 Hall of Fame inductee” was a mistake, and not an example of someone adding the subheading before WWE had made the announcement:

Numerous WWE sources indicated to us that the Daniel Bryan “2021 Hall of Fame Inductee” was simply an error, and he isn’t planned for the ceremony as of now.
