An interesting note regarding Seth Rollins and CM Punk’s promo exchange from last night’s WWE Raw has been revealed.
On last night’s episode of Raw (December 11), CM Punk revealed which brand he would be signing with following his return to WWE at the climax of Survivor Series in Chicago last month.
Punk appeared on last week’s SmackDown show, as well as the NXT Deadline premium live event, to tease potentially signing with either brand, but ultimately chose to sign with Raw.
The segment then turned into a back and forth between Punk and Rollins, with Punk saying that he would be entering the Royal Rumble match next year.
The segment played off the pair’s real-life issues, and an interesting note about the segment has now been revealed.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the segment between Rollins and Punk had no producer listed for it.
This falls in line with the rest of Punk’s segments since his return, which also had no producer listed.
Punk announced himself as a participant in the 2024 Royal Rumble match during the segment.
