
Ahead of WWE King & Queen of the Ring, an update has been provided on Saudi Arabia hosting WWE WrestleMania or Royal Rumble.
As previously reported, Saudi Arabia has been interested in hosting one of WWE’s two biggest events of the year, WrestleMania or Royal Rumble.
In a new interview with Mike Coppinger of ESPN, Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, revealed that the country is currently in talks to bring WWE WrestleMania or Royal Rumble to Saudi.
The report notes that Alalshikh stated an “enhancement” to Saudi Arabia’s agreement with WWE will be announced soon.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani of the MMA Hour, Turki Alalshikh stated Saudi Arabia is in talks to potentially bring the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania to Riyadh. He said:
“We are talking in the future about WrestleMania and Royal Rumble. We are talking around ’26, ’27.”
WWE will hold the King & Queen of the Ring premium live event on Saturday, May 25 from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
