WWE Legend Shares Impression Of CM Punk Following First-Ever Meeting WWE

WWE Hall of Famer and ECW legend D-Von Dudley has shared his impression of CM Punk following their first-ever meeting.

At WWE WrestleMania 40, CM Punk got a measure of revenge on Drew McIntyre for injuring him when his attack on his rival led to Damian Priest cashing in the Money In The Bank contract to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

Aside from continuing his issues with McIntyre, Punk was in attendance for the WWE Hall of Fame 2024 event to watch his mentor Paul Heyman’s induction.

During the event, Punk also got the chance to meet another WWE Hall of Famer and “Paul Heyman Guy” D-Von Dudley for the first time.

On a recent episode of Gabby AF, D-Von Dudley recalled his meeting with CM Punk on the elevator during WrestleMania 40 weekend. He said:

“This past weekend at WrestleMania, me and my wife and kids, we were in the elevator and Dominik [Mysterio] comes in. I’d known Dominik for a long time, even when I was producing.”

“Then all of a sudden the next stop was CM Punk. He looked at me, I looked at him. I was like, ‘Yo, what’s going on, man?’ He was like, ‘D-Von! Hey!'”

“I was like, ‘Hey, nice to meet you, man. I’ve never met you before.’ And I told him the whole story of how he met Bubba [Ray Dudley] first, and I said, ‘But don’t worry about it. I’m the better looking of the Dudleys.'”

“He kind of cracked and smiled. I was like, ‘No, all jokes aside, pleasure meeting you, man.’ He came off as one of the most pleasant guys I think I’d ever met.'”

CM Punk is currently out of action with a torn triceps injury at the time of this writing.
