Cody Rhodes Approves Unique Battle Royal For Next Week’s WWE NXT

While serving as the special guest general manager on tonight’s WWE NXT, Cody Rhodes gave the greenlight to a very unique new Battle Royal. 

With The Family (Tony D’Angelo and Stacks Lorenzo) spotted chatting with Cody Rhodes backstage at NXT, Tony was attempting to explain a unique match concept. 

Next week on WWE NXT, a ‘Bada Bing, Bada Boom Battle Royal’ as there will be five tag teams in the ring, a total of ten men. If one member of the team is eliminated, the entire team is eliminated until only two teams remain. 

When there are two teams remaining, a standard tag team match will begin with the winning team getting a shot at Tony D’Angelo and Stacks for the NXT Tag Team Championship on week one of Halloween Havoc. 

Later via match graphic, the teams were revealed to be the following:

Bronco Nima and Lucien Price (OTM), Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey as well as separately Damon Kemp and Myles Borne, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, Duke Hudson and Andre Chase (Chase U), Wolfgang and Mark Coffey(Gallus), Julius and Brutus Creed (Creed Brothers), Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza and Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. 

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, two special guest hosts were announced for the special two-week live event, NXT Halloween Havoc. 

After joining commentary for a match, Shotzi revealed that she and Scarlett Bordeaux will serve as special guest hosts for NXT’s upcoming two-part Halloween Havoc.
