AEW tag team FTR (The Revival) are just two of many wrestlers who have joined Tony Khan’s company since departing WWE, and it seems as though Dax Harwood thinks there’s room for one more.
During a recent watch-along on AdFreeShows, Harwood revealed that he think Chad Gable would do well in AEW, saying he’s under-utilized in WWE.
“That is what separates you, and that is what separates the wrestlers from guys who are playing wrestler. There are guys who can go in there and do athletic, crazy stuff. I wish I could, but if you believe in your heart that you are the best; if you believe that you’re the biggest badass in the world… nobody can beat you, you’re gonna look legit.
“I think we should get Gable into AEW, but that’s just my thought.”
Harwood said this while discussing old feuds against American Alpha, the tag team Gable was in alongside Jason Jordan, who seems to have retired from in-ring competition following a neck injury in 2018.
There is no doubt that Gable isn’t booked properly by WWE. He is immensely talented in the ring, and does some great character work as well when he’s allowed to.
