Balor first won the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber in February 2019 by defeating Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a two-on-one handicap match. He then lost the title to Lashley on an episode of Raw. Balor’s latest win marks his second reign as Intercontinental Champion.
