Ember Moon And Asuka Want Main Roster Match

One of the biggest rivalries the NXT women’s division ever had was between Ember Moon and Asuka. Their rivalry in 2017 defined Asuka’s reign as NXT Women’s Champion, but the two have yet to clash on the main roster.

WWE posted the link to their classic match from NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III recently, which got a response from the women involved. Ember Moon and Asuka responded saying they want to go one more time. Here are the tweets:

This match from Brooklyn was their second Takeover match together. Their first came at NXT Takeover: Orlando, where Asuka retained her title. Because Asuka relinquished the title to move to the main roster in 2017, Moon has yet to defeat Asuka in WWE.

Since they both were called up to the main roster, they have only had one meaningful interaction. At Evolution in 2018, Moon eliminated Asuka from a battle royale and celebrated big time. She celebrated as if she had finally gotten that big win over Asuka after two years of waiting. This showed that Moon has not forgotten about her old rival and based on these tweets these two are ready to go again.
