Eric Bischoff, who made a special appearance on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, has clarified his status with the promotion.
As was leaked a few days prior to the show, Bischoff was the guest moderator for the Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy debate.
Speaking with WrestleZone when asked if this mean he’s joining AEW full-time, Bischoff said:
“No. It was a cameo and it made sense in that particular scene between Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho.”
Bischoff recently joined the promotion’s president and CEO Tony Khan on a podcast to preview Fight for the Fallen, and it was evident there that Khan had great admiration and respect for Bischoff.
