Even WWE Has Forgotten About Bray Wyatt (Hilarious Botch)

WWE has hilariously botched a recent Instagram post, tagging the wrong wrestler for multiple Bray Wyatt Hell in a Cell photos.

With Hell in a Cell 2021 airing on Sunday, WWE has been promoting the show on social media. In an ironic mistake, WWE tagged the wrong star in a “closer look” Instagram post.

WWE shared some iconic recent Hell in a Cell moments on their feed, telling fans to check out their story for a closer look at the cage. Among these were shots from Seth Rollins’ and The Fiend’s 2019 Universal Championship match.

While Rollins’ tags were correct, ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt was tagged as Jeff Hardy. A Reddit user shared this screenshot:

Wyatt has been off WWE TV since WrestleMania, reportedly for no reason other than WWE doesn’t want him to be on TV right now.

Another Fiend photo in the collection from the same match also had a Jeff Hardy tag. Hardy has competed in a Hell in a Cell match, notably facing Randy Orton at the 2018 event.

On Raw, Hardy randomly put his career on the line. Following the segment, reports noted that Vince McMahon no longer wants “cold matches” on his shows.

This Sunday, Rey Mysterio challenges for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship inside Hell in a Cell. Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship will also be contested inside The Devil’s Playground.

McIntyre has now responded to criticism from fans who want to see different stars challenge for the WWE title.
