Every 24/7 Title Change At WWE Raw Reunion

The WWE 24/7 Championship had quite the busy night at Raw Reunion, so here’s a little recap of its journey.

R-Truth was champion heading into the show. He was backstage for an interview with Charly Caruso, but Drake Maverick’s wife Renee turned up and started getting a bit heated, allowing Drake to roll Truth up from behind and regain the strap.

Things got even more interesting when Drake was in the locker room hurriedly trying to grab his stuff and leave the arena. He found a bag full of worms and then the Boogeyman appeared.

This scared Maverick into quivering on the floor, but when the Boogeyman disappeared, first ever Intercontinental Champion Pat Patterson walked in, kicked the daylights out of Drake, and won the title himself.

A bit later, we cut to Gerald Brisco pinning Patterson for the title. He ran along the corridor in celebration until he bumped into Kelly Kelly. They hugged, but then he collapsed and Kelly pinned him to become the first female 24/7 Champion.

Candice Michelle was next to add her name to the title’s lineage by pinning Kelly later in the night, but only held it for a matter of seconds as Alundra Blayze made Candice tap out for the belt.

When Alundra won the title, she said she wouldn’t be holding it very long. That’s because she intended to throw it in the trash. However, just before she could, Ted DiBiase came out and bought it off her.

Drake Maverick won it back though, inside DiBiase’s own limousine before being chased away by the mob. They ran out into the ring during a Mick Foley promo, but Drake managed to keep his grasp on the title.

Maverick was just about to hop into his limo and finally consummate his marriage with Renee, but Truth rolled him up for three. He then hopped in the limo, which drove off with him and Renee in it, leaving Drake and Carmella behind.

And they all didn’t live happily ever after.

But seriously, the 24/7 Title is the greatest invention in the history of professional wrestling/sports entertainment and long may the shenanigans continue.
