WWE’s Extreme Rules premium live event kick off show has just gotten underway, but there have already been backstage secrets revealed!
With the rough match card already mapped out and available to subscribers of Fightful Select, there is also a report regarding the expected length of time given to each match as well as who to expect at ringside.
According to the most recent report by Fightful Select, the Brawling Brutes taking on Imperium in the Donnybrook Match was scheduled for the top of the night with WWE reportedly seeking to bring in many different forms of weaponry/set dressing for the brawl.
With WWE props apparently on the hunt for whiskey barrels, flags and even a suit of armor, the match between the six behemoths is sure to be a banger.
Notably, Edge vs. Finn Balor as well as Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle’s pit match were slotted to have the most time allotted on the night.
Run sheets noting Balor’s Judgment Day cohorts Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest to be at ringside but Dominik Mysterio was not listed
Also, reports indicate that the match that would be the shortest for the night was scheduled to be Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey’s re-re-match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
With reports of NXT stars backstage, and multiple literal White Rabbits wandering around the event, could there be even more surprises in store at Extreme Rules?
Extreme Rules airs live exclusively on Peacock tonight October 8 at 8pm EST, 5pm PST.
