NXT 2.0’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is underway with the first matches taking place on tonight’s (January 18) episode which saw the first two teams advance.
In a strong back and forth showing, Diamond Mine’s Creed Brothers took on Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen and ultimately came out victorious to advance to the next round.
Creed Brothers will either face Grizzled Young Veterans or Andre Chas and Bodhi Hayward in the semi-final.
On the other side of the bracket, Malik Blade got the roll up pin on Joaquin Wilde to bring himself and Edris Enofe one step closer to the finals, upsetting Legado Del Fantasmo and advancing.
They will face the winner of Jacket Time versus MSK in the semi-finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
