A new report has revealed details on the first WWE employee meeting post-TKO merger.
On September 12, Endeavor announced the completion of the merger between WWE and UFC into the TKO Group Holdings company by opening on Wall Street. Following the official merger, there were staff cuts of over 100 employees on Friday, September 15.
Per Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE held an employee meeting in Stamford at headquarters on September 19 with Ari Emanuel, Vince McMahon and Nick Khan.
McMahon referred to Emanuel as his boss and stated that WWE had stagnated. He went on to say that his deal with Endeavor was to get them to the next level.
McMahon’s statement contradicts the company touting record numbers across the board internally and publicly.
The report also notes that Ari Emanuel mentioned that his daughter Ashlee works for WWE now.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on WWE following the TKO merger when they become available.
