Former AEW Star Makes WWE Debut

Former AEW Star Makes WWE Debut WWE/AEW

Former AEW star Kylie Rae is set to make her WWE debut tonight (December 12) after attending tryouts with WWE last week.

Rae worked the tapings for Main Event before tonight’s episode of Raw under the new name Briana Ray (her real full name is Briana Rae Sparrey).

Rae was a focal point of the AEW women’s division right at the start of the promotion in 2019, but left after only a few months.

She’s since had notable runs with the NWA and IMPACT.

As mentioned, Rae was at WWE tryouts last week – other names known to have attended the tryouts are KC Navarro, and the former ROH tag team of Dutch & Vincent.

As has become tradition, NXT talents will also be working Main Event tonight, this time the tag team of Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.

Dana Brooke was Rae’s opponent, while Enofe & Blade appear set to face Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander.
