Former WWE Name Thanks AEW Star Bryan Danielson AEW

A former WWE name has thanked AEW star Bryan Danielson for his kind words after seeing the American Dragon’s comments about him.

The infamous therapist Dr. Shelby for Daniel Bryan and Kane during their time together in 2012.

Hired by AJ Lee to facilitate anger management between the two tag partners, it seems that Dr. Shelby has been so busy that he just now got around to reading Bryan’s ‘memoir’.

Dr. Shelby today:

“@WWE @bryandanielson

“Thanks for your kind words. You’re truly the GOAT 😉💛”

Sharing the passage from Yes: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania by ‘Daniel Bryan’, Dr. Shelby took us all down memory lane!

The passage shared by Dr. Shelby reads:

“What also made the series work was “Dr. Shelby,” an acting/drama teacher who played our therapist and was amazing in the role. He started off the vignettes as a therapist with infinite patience who saw the good side in everything, but just when Kane and I looked to have a “breakthrough,” we instead started fighting, causing Dr. Shelby to lose it and throw the best fit ever. He was only supposed to be a one- time character, but he was so good that WWE kept bringing him back to shoot stuff with us on Raw. The only reason we eventually stopped using him was because he had a limited number of days off he could use as a teacher.”

Don’t presume that you can pick up the aforementioned book penned by ‘Daniel Bryan’ and it will be up to date with the happenings in life for Bryan Danielson.

The book was published in 2015 so there are copious portions of the American Dragon’s history that were not able to be discussed at the time.

No word on why it took Dr. Shelby nine years to get around to finding the reference however hopefully he has checked out AEW.

Bryan Danielson is now a landmark star in All Elite Wrestling.
