For the last few months, AEW faction The Dark Order has been teasing that their leader will be revealing himself in the near future. The role was reportedly originally planned for Marty Scurll, but he decided to re-sign with ROH instead of joining AEW.
Matt Hardy, who will reportedly be leaving WWE at the end of the month, has also been teased as the “exalted” leader of the group. Dark Order’s Evil Uno has fuelled his speculation by engaging with Hardy on Twitter.
However, it seems like the leader of the Dark Order may have actually appeared on AEW: Dynamite last night, but you very easily might have missed him.
During a Dark Order segment this week on Dynamite, a brawl broke out into the crowd. As the majority of the crowd vacated their seats, one man remained seated. The camera very clearly picked up that this man was former WWE star Raven.
Did you see it? The exalted one is always watching.

Raven lives in Atlanta, where last night’s show took place, so he may have just been visiting and AEW decided to throw a red herring and tease that he is the exalted leader of the group.
However, the subtlety of the angle may make it seem like AEW has actually has plans to have the ECW legend unveiled as the leader of the faction.
