Former WWE star Matt Sydal (formerly Evan Bourne in WWE) made his debut for AEW tonight in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out.
Sydal appeared as the final entrant in the Casino Battle Royale match. However, his debut didn’t go to plan as he slipped off the top rope almost immediately in what was a scary spot.

Thankfully, Sydal seemed ok after the spot and continued on with the match, where he lasted until the final three before being eliminated.
The match was won by Lance Archer, who last eliminated Eddie Kingston to earn his AEW World Championship shot at either Jon Moxley or MJF.
At this time, there is no word on whether or not Sydal is a permanent member of the AEW roster at this point, or if this is just a one-off for him.
