A former WWE star has discussed a potential appearance in this year’s Royal Rumble match, and whether he’s heard from the company.
Every year, we hear rumours and speculation about which former WWE stars may be set to make a surprise appearance in that year’s Royal Rumble match.
Former WWE star Maven has become more popular in recent months due to his popular YouTube channel, and with him holding one of the most iconic Royal Rumble eliminations of all-time back in 2002, fans have speculated that he may make a cameo in this year’s match.
Speaking on Cafe de Rene, Maven was asked if he would be open to appearing in the 2024 Royal Rumble match.
He said:
“If it’s happening, I haven’t gotten the call yet. I know people want me. ‘It’d be a great spot.’ I haven’t got the call yet, I haven’t heard anything.”
There have been five names confirmed for this year’s Royal Rumble match so far, those being Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.
