With Triple H taking over WWE creative back in July, many former WWE stars have returned to the companyy.
From Dakota Kai at SummerSlam to Mia Yim on November 7, there have been a lot of released stars that have returned, and even more that have been speculated.
One such speculated name is Matt Cardona, the former Zack Ryder, who was released from WWE back in 2020.
Rumours emerged that WWE is hoping to bring back Chelsea Green, with some in the company considering it a ‘done deal’.
Chelsea Green is the wife of Cardona, which added fuel to the fire about a potential return for Cardona alongside his wife.
Ahead of IMPACT Wrestling Over Drive, Cardona hosted a Q&A on his Twitter earlier today, when he was asked if there was one title he hopes to win before he retires from wrestling.
In response, Cardona posted a photo, showing him holding the WWE Tag Team, United States, Intercontinental and Raw Tag Team Championship, as well as the caption ‘just one more’.
Ryder has captured many titles during his time outside of WWE, including the IMPACT Digital Media and GCW World Championships.
Cardona has stated in the past that he would open to a WWE return, as long as he could do so as Matt Cardona instead of Zack Ryder.
Triple H is said to be ‘100%’ open to bringing Cardona back into the company.
