Former WWE Star Announces Retirement

Former WWE Star Announces Retirement WWE

A former WWE star has announced their retirement from professional wrestling.

Taryn Terrell, who formerly performed at WWE under the ring name Tiffany in the late 00s, made the announcement in an Instagram post.

The former TNA Knockouts champion wrote:

“In my career, I often have not been able to be the first to “break my own news.” At every company, it makes it to the public before I was truly ready to say anything.

“Anyhow, I have decided that it is time to officially hang up my boots…forever.

“It’s so bittersweet. NWA gave me a wonderful opportunity to manage.

“The problem is, I can’t be beside that ring and find happiness. I love the ring.

“Being inside those ropes and connecting with the humans in the crowd fuels me. There’s no place like it.

“Therefore, I asked for more. They gave me more and gave me really fun matches where I had complete, creative freedom.

“I was able to tell stories the way I saw them.

“I am grateful to Billy for allowing me a place to create and relive the moments inside that ring.”

Alongside, the screen captioned post, Terrell captioned:

Grateful for the many chapters in life🥰

Taryn Terell worked the independent circuit following her release from WWE in November, 2010.

She had a notable run at TNA, where she had a title run with the OVW Women’s Championship in addition to becoming the TNA Knockouts Champion.

Terrell debuted on commentary for the NWA promotion in March 2021. Her debut match shortly followed in June where she teamed with Kylie Rae and beat Thunder Rosa and Melina Perez.

Taryn Terrell also served as manager to Jennacide and Paola Blaze and teamed up with them during a six-woman tag team match to challenge for the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship.

She also had a shot at the NWA World Women’s Title on February 12 at NWA PowerrrTrip in a match against Kamille but failed to secure the gold.

Her last match for NWA was on August 31, 2022, in Nashville, TN.

Terrell teamed with Natalia Markova and was defeated in a handicap match against Max the Impaler.
